Well I'm glad this working week is over . I can't believe how long 5 days has been. I'm so looking forward to the weekend. So much so that I have ignored food and a number of "Mum what's for supper?" and have been so successful that oldest son (by 4 mins - twins) had now cooked a very nice curry. Not really that much of a neglectful mother as they are 19 and have only been sledging all day!!! So due to my deafness I have have a little play and had a go at the challenge over at http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/ which is is Something for your Valentine. It can be a card, a gift, or some candy, whatever it is you are giving to your Valentine.

I decided to make something that either my sons (ha who am i kidding???) or daughter could give. I followed a template for the bag and used I think
Imaginese card and lined with
papermania heart paper. The handle I made using some left over jewelery wire and beads. I attached using a jump ring poked through the card but am
conscious that this isn't too robust - if anyone can
suggest something please let me know.

The triangle
sweetie holder was made following a video posted on you tube and crimped at the top & bottom. I used for the first time my smallest
nestability circle and the "sweet" is a
SU stamp I bought off
Ebay. I can remember being very surprised when it arrived as I didn't realise how small the stamp was & didn't think at the time I would ever use it. So how wrong was I? The bow is one I have
made before by simply tacking through my large roll of
bargain ribbon(jumble sale) and then gathering

Had fun doing this and am off to have a bath and enjoy the feeling of being"arty!"
