I am a working mum of three very untidy children. Although not sure if 18 still qualifies as a child? but then again from their actions its a yes! I really enjoy most crafts and tend to be enthusiastic but not always competent!!

Dilly's Doodling

Crafting from a garage in the Cotswolds...

Sketch Saturday

Sunday, January 25, 2009

An early ish post from me today as I was able to finish a card I started yesterday for the challenge at http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/ . Its a fab sketch to work with and I was able to use another of Rachelle Anne Miller stamps (Funky kits). Cardstock Papermania, Papers are K&Co, ribbon is doodle bug & no idea for the brads!. Flowers are again home made using a sizzlit die with a nestability circle

I coloured in with pro makers pastel green, lime green, lilac dress, lilac & lavender trousers, blossom and pastel pink shoes, hair cinnamon & vanilla. The sentiment is from a Scrappy Cat set from Hobby Craft

Inside of the card was using my nestabilities set - I bought the small circles & rectangles but find the size a bit limiting for my stamps so looks like the larger set may be of more use - will have to wait until May when I can put on birthday list!!

I wanted to try to go all around the stripy paper with my border punch but couldn't and ended up cutting so much off - that in the end I gave up. Will have to practise on newspaper given the amount I know I will need! Have a restful Sunday.
Hugs
