Yippee a free Saturday with time to craft. Daughter away in Wales again so I have taken over her bedroom - and my goodness I can see where the children get their untidiness from!!. Her room really does look like a paper bomb has gone off! But how nice just to shut the door and know I can start again tomorrow... I decided to make a valentine card and wanted to use red & white as they are my favourite colour combination - but no red card:(. So picked a pack of papers (K&Co) shut my eyes and fanned through and stopped at this pretty blue and cream. I also used paper mania brown as the base ( not too happy with this card as when I score the card tends to tear - must be more gentle!). I used for the first time a Simon & Lola stamp from Sugar Nellies
coloured in with promarkers, pastel blue, vanilla, cinnamon, henna & ivory. I made the flower using a new sizzix die (bought a few too many in the great Sizzix sale!) & stash ribbon.
I have started to decorate the inside of cards having been inspired by both Bev & Rachel. This page has the same papers - used heart Friskars border punch and words are from an old stamp set
