About me

My Photo
DillyDilly
I am a working mum of three very untidy children. Although not sure if 18 still qualifies as a child? but then again from their actions its a yes! I really enjoy most crafts and tend to be enthusiastic but not always competent!!

Dilly's Doodling

Crafting from a garage in the Cotswolds...

Stampavie v's Magnolia

Monday, January 26, 2009

Oh how I like weekends with nothing to do apart from craft!! Well not strictly true but have ignored the ironing, washing & tumbling for a whole weekend and have fished out ready meals from the outside freezer. Using the excuse of running it down to clean..... given I can't ever remember defrosting it I don't know who I am kidding!!!. I know this post is on Monday but I have pre-timed so it looks like I am productive in the week however my comments about not being a goddess of domesticity have let the cat out of the bag!!

The theme at http://magnoliameetsstampavie.blogspot.com/ is Double Trouble and you have to include two stamps from either range. I used a very simple layout ( not creative enough!) with K&Co Papers, brads from stash (and mashed about 4 before I realised that I could change the bottom plate in my big kick - I wish I could do things right first time - but destined I think to always learn from experience.......) The sentiment is I think a Scrappy Cat one.

I coloured in with pro markers Lilac & Lavender Blossom & Satin on the trousers, Satin & Lime Green on her shoes, Blossom & lime green top, Hair is mustard & vanilla. If anyone knows a good combination to get a blonde look please let me know as I am not really happy with mine. Nice & easy is soo much quicker!!

And finally the inside - using more "Sale" die cuts. For once I'm glad my camera does not take great photos as the inside is defiantly a bit ropey!

Have a good week everyone

This is adorable! I love how Tilda just sits on the ribbon, and Rufus is perfect for this card. Funny I just made a card using Rufus this past weekend too. =)
Fabulous Card!
